Addis Bible College Student Activity
Addis Bible College Student Activity are as follows;
Identity Card (ID Card)
Each student will be issued a student ID card. This card needs to be kept with him/her at all times. If the card is lost, it must be reported to the Receptionist and replaced immediately. A replacement charge is 25 ETB.
The ABC Cafeteria is available to all students, faculty, and staff on a cash-per-meal basis. A cashier will be present in the cafeteria. Payment is to be made directly to the cafeteria cashier. Semester payments can be made to the cafeteria management.
Students are expected to observe proper table etiquette (good manners) and courtesy towards one another and the kitchen staff. Please be on time for meals. Each student is to return all dishes, cups and utensils to the appropriate place in the cafeteria when finished eating. No food or utensils are to be taken from the cafeteria to a student’s room.
Students staying on the campus during the weekend must sign the sheet provided in the cafeteria each Friday to indicate which meals they will be eating on Saturday and Sunday. Students should indicate only the meals they are certain they will eat.
The meal at Sunday noon is provided over an extended period because of students returning from church services. The cafeteria management will post the meal schedule.
If a student has stomach problems and needs a special diet, a letter from a recognized medical authority must be presented to the cafeteria management at the beginning of the semester, which explains the cause of the problem and the dietary needs of the student. The cafeteria manager will consider what meal options the student may have.
The kitchen staff considers its work as a ministry to the ABC community. Their efforts are greatly appreciated. Students must remember that preparing food in large quantities is a challenge and that individuals from a variety of regions will have preferences and tastes that differ. Please be gracious and learn to enjoy an expanded menu.
If a student has a complaint about the food quality or service, the complaint should first be submitted to the cafeteria manager. If the issue cannot be settled than it must be submitted in writing to the Student Life Committee.
